Barb and Max left Friday afternoon and I followed after work. The traffic was terrible for me and it took me over two hours. But Barb was waiting for me at the park entrance and guided me through the parking and transportation from the parking area to the cabins about, by trail, 350 yards away.<\/p>\n

We visited and went on some short hikes until it started getting dark then sat around the tables in front of the cabins and visited until it was time for bed. Most of the people I talked to asked about Maddy and Barb and I filled them in with the latest stories.<\/p>\n

The cabins<\/a> were close to the water and clean. The walls were very thin though. And the cabins were close together. You could hear people snoring in the cabin next you. We gave Max the bedroom and the large bed. Barb and I slept on the rollaway bed. Every movement was a screech of metal and the wall was so thin my snoring kept Max from sleeping well.<\/p>\n

The next morning Barb and I woke up fairly early and I started taking pictures. It was quiet and peaceful. Steve B. was the first person we saw come out of the cabins:<\/p>\n

Next up were Steve H. and Helen. Barb and Steve talked for quite a while:<\/p>\n

Barb and I had a small stack and went on a couple of short hikes.<\/p>\n

It was the most green beach I have ever seen:<\/p>\n

I thought the tree and some of the driftwood was interesting:<\/p>\n

Breakfast was sort of a community thing:<\/p>\n

After breakfast everyone scattered to go on more hikes. Barb and I went to Cranberry Lake. I was disappointed the lake appeared to be filled with swamp water rather than cranberry sauce.<\/p>\n

We found Max and some of the cousins there and left after taking a few pictures:<\/p>\n

The trail was very pleasant:<\/p>\n

While we were gone some of the other cousin caught a bunch of crabs:<\/p>\n

There was a lot of game playing by the cousins and talking among the adults.<\/p>\n

On Sunday morning Barb and I got up early. I left early to participate in a pistol match in Renton<\/a>. We packed up all my stuff and some of hers and transported it up the hill in the carts:<\/p>\n
